Cyrus DAVIS 1839 to 1916 married Phoebe Wilson

Cyrus Davis was the first son of Elizabeth Wilson and George Davis. He was born in Kurrajong, NSW in 1839 and died in Forest Reef in 1916. Cyrus married distant cousin Phoebe Wilson at Richmond in 1862.

Cyrus and Phoebe had ten children.

1. Thomas 1863 - 1881. Did not marry.

2. Andrew 1864 - ? married Gertrude Alsop. No issue.

3. Mary Ann 1866 - 1870. Died as a child.

4. Phoebe 1867 - 1870. Died as a child.

5. Laura 1870 - 1947 married William Devon and Christopher Shaw. She had seven children.

6. Reuben 1872 - 1953 married Matilda Alsop. They had seven children.

7. Florence Elizabeth 1875 - ?

8. Cedelia 1878 - 1933. Did not marry.

9. May 1880 - 1900. Did not marry.

10. Amy 1884 - ? married Jack Hinchcliff. They had six children.

Phoebe Wilson 1846 to 1903 married Cyrus Davis

Phoebe Wilson was the second child and first daughter of Job Wilson Jnr and Mary Green. She was born at Kurrajong in 1846 and died in 1903. She married Cyrus Davis in Richmond in 1862.

Phoebe and Cyrus had ten children

Cyrus Wilson 1860 - 1918 married Elsie Wilson

Cyrus Wilson was the son of Timothy Wilson and Elizabeth Riley. He was born in Kurrajong in 1860 and died in Parramatta in 1918. His death notice can be found in this newspaper article.

Cyrus married a distant cousin, Elsie Jane Wilson in 1905 (click here to read about it in the local newspaper). Elsie was the daughter of John Wilson Jnr and Ellen Matilda Hawkins.

They had five children.
