Charlotte Barwick 1825 to 1856 married to Edmund Brown

Charlotte Barwick was born to Charlotte and John Barwick in Kurrajong on November 11, 1825. She died at Richmond on April 16, 1856. Charlotte married Edmund Brown in 1846 at Richmond.

Charlotte and Edmund had four children.

1. Harriett 1848 to 1936 (married to Alexander Bennett in 1863 at Mudgee) & (married to Thomas Cleaver in 1868)

2. Amelia 1849 to 1903 (married to William Bennett in 1866)

3. Edmund 1851 to ?? (married to Susan Makepeace in 1877 at Mudgee)

4. Elijah 1854 to 1918 (married to Harriett McMichael in 1890 at Gunnedah)

Elizabeth Jane Wilson 1848 to 1918 married George Wilson & John Leeming

Elizabeth Jane Wilson was the third child of Simeon Wilson and Elizabeth Horan/Riley. She born in 1848 at Kurrajong. She partnered with George Wilson (no relation) and then John Lemming. Elizabeth died in Denman, NSW in 1918.

Elizabeth and George had nine children.

1. Georgina 1865 -1887 married George Day. No issue.

2. Lavinia Jane 1867 -1943 married George Marsh. They had seven children.

3. Amelia 1868 - ? married Frederick Duffin. They had nine children.

4. Mary Ann 1872 - 1953 married William Ferguson. They had three children.

5. William Frederick 1873 - 1958 married Gertrude Brown. They had seven children.

6. George A 1875 - 1955 married Alice Brown. They had at least one child.

7. Charles Albert 1877 - 1941 married Ethel Griffith. 

8. Francis Jane 1879 - 1959 married William Wells. They had five children.

9. Henry John  1881 - 1950 married Mary Lawrence. They had three children.

Job Wilson 1858 to 1902 married Sarah Wilson

Job Wilson Jnr, was the son of Timothy Wilson and Elizabeth Riley. He was born in Kurrajong in 1858 and died in North Sydney in 1902. He married a cousin, Sarah Matilda Wilson. 

Sarah was the daughter of Thomas and Hannah Wilson. Job and Sarah were married in Kurrajong in 1877.

They had 13 children.

1. Cecil (1877 -?) married Muriel Atkinson. They had three children.

2. Peter Robert (1879 - 1931) married Eunice Stratford. They had four children.

3. Lillian Marie (1880 - 1969) married Robert John Silk. They had children.

4. Grace Syliva (1882 - 1882) died as an infant.

5. Eliud Thomas (1883 - 1967) married Barbara Lewis. They had nine children.

6. Constance Hannah (1885 - 1926) married Thomas Gavin. They had three children.

7. Elsie May (1887 - 1894) died as a child.

8. Alma Elizabeth (1889 - 1902) died as a child.

9. Bernice Evelyn (1891 - 1982) married Thomas Brown. They had five children.

10. Gladys Maude (1892 - 1893) died as a child.

11. Rachel Matilda (1894 - 1912) died aged 18.

12 Hiliary Herbert (1897 - 1981) married Cinderella Gow. They had four children.

13. Hilmer Job (1899 - 1899) died as a child.

Florence Ada Wilson 1877 to 1959 married to Thomas Nay

Florence Ada Wilson was the twelfth child of John Wilson and Catherine Barwick. She was born in Kurrajong in 1877 and died at Richmond in 1959. She married Thomas Nay in 1900 in Richmond. They had nine children.

2. Majorie 1901 - ?? married James Lavender in Richmond in 1918. They had six children.

3. Daisy 1905 - 1971 married Oswald Percy Brown (descendant of Elizabeth Barwick)

4. Florence Evelyn 1907 - 1988 married Darcy Madden in 1924. 

5. Thomas Athol 1909 - 1977 married Ciss Brown. They had 7 children.

6. George Andrew 1911 - 1992 married Marjorie Whittington. They had two children.

7. John Thomas 1912 - 1985 married Mona Warwick. They had three children.

8. Sylvia 1913 - 1983 married Ronald Seymour and George Moffatt. Five children.

Samuel Hurst 1841 to 1896 married Diana Wilson

Samuel Hurst was the third child of Elizabeth Barwick and Samuel Hurst Senior. He was born in Kurrajong in 1841 and died there in 1896. In 1872 Samuel married Diana Wilson. Diana was the daughter of Edward Wilson and Susannah Riley. Samuel was a very popular figure in Kurrajong. He and Diana had ten children. After Sam's death Diana married John Shepherd. 2. Ellen 1875 - 1939 Married John Coady. They had two children.

3. May Edith 1877 - 1953 Married Theodore Giddins. They had at least three children.

4. Samuel Edward 1879 - 1955.  Did not marry

5. James 1881 - 1963. Married Mildred Glidden. They had three children.

6. William Kenneth 1884 -1969. Married Celia Allister. They had three children.

7. Priscilla 1886 -1954. Married Herbert Stanford. They had five children.

8. Ruby Alice 1888 - 1950. Married John Riley. They had eight children.

9. Horace Gordon 1891 - 1976. Married Nellie Richards. They had two children.

10. Arthur Leslie 1892 -1952. Married Mabel ? No children.

Harriett Brown 1848 to 1936 married Alexander Bennett and Thomas Cleaver

Harriett Brown was the first child of Charlotte Barwick and Edmund Brown. She was born in North Richmond in 1848 and died in Dubbo in 1936. Harriett married twice. First to Alexander Bennett with whom she had three children. Then after Alexander died in 1868, Harriett married Thomas Cleaver. Harriett and Thomas had eight children.

3. George Henry 1876 - 1956 Married Prudence Armstrong and Henrietta Harvey. Had five children with Henrietta.

5. Thomas Vincent 1880 -1963.

6. Walter 1883 - ? Married Margaret ? They had at least two children.

7. Alice Beatrice 1885 - 1982. Married Henry Gore. They had seven children.

Amelia Brown 1849 to 1903 married William Bennett

Amelia Brown was the second child of Charlotte Barwick and Edmund Brown. Amelia was born in North Richmond in 1849 and died in 1927 in Mudgee She married William Bennett in 1866. They had fourteen children.

1. Alexander 1869 -1962. Married Elsie Wright. They had two children.

2. William 1871 - 1949 Married Lucy Lyons.

Edmund Brown 1851 to1925 married Susan Makepiece

Edmund Brown was the third child of Charlotte Barwick and Edmund Brown. Edmund was born in Kurrajong in 1851. He died in 1925 in Taree.  In 1877 Edmund married Susan Makepiece in Mudgee in 1877. They had five children.

Elijah Brown 1854 to 1918 married Harriett McMichael.

Elijah Brown was the fourth child of Charlotte Barwick and Edmund Brown. Elijah was born in Kurrajong in 1854 and died in Mudgee in 1918. He married Harriett McMichael in 1890 and they had four children.
