Thomas Turner was born to Mary and George Turner at North Richmond on December 23, 1824. He married Elizabeth Bayliss on December 29, 1845, at Richmond. 

Thomas's second wife was Mary Ann Cooper (cousin of Elizabeth). Thomas and Mary Ann were married at Rylstone on September 15, 1862.

Thomas and Elizabeth had eight children.

1. Matilda 1846 to 1927 (married to Thomas Hatton in 1876 at Rylstone) & (married to Charles Salmon in 1878 at Rylstone).

2. Henry 1847 to 1934 (married to Hannah Baker in 1878)

8. Maria 1861 to 1861 died at Rylstone as an infant.

Henry Turner 1847 to 1934 married Hannah Baker

Henry Turner was the second child and first son of Thomas Turner and Elizabeth Bayliss. He was born in Kurrajong in 1847 and died in Rylstone in 1934. In 1878 Henry married Hannah Amelia Baker. They had eleven children.

1. Emily Maude Ethel 1879 - 1949. Did not marry

2. George Henry 1882 - 1971. Married Ethel Maud Hurley. They had three children.

3. Lily May 1884 -1979. Married Robert Hobby. They had seven children.

4. Florence Elizabeth 1886 - 1919. Married Redmond Carroll. They had five children.

5. Ida Grace 1888-1967. Married George Price. They had three children.

6. Mabel Beatrice 1890 -? Married John Freeburn. They had five children.

7. Arthur Frederick  1892 - 1963. Did not marry. 

8. Stanley George 1892 - 1980. Twin of Arthur. Married Lean Fittler. They had ten children.

9. Clifton Gordon 1895 - ?. Married Eileen Ferguson. They had one child.

10. Sidney Harwood 1896- 1935. Single.

11. Edward Thomas  1899 -1968. Married Louisa Price. They had five children.

Betsy Turner 1854 -1917 married Angus McDonald

Betsy Turner was the fifth child of Thomas Turner and Elizabeth Bayliss. Betsy was born in Rylstone in 1854 and died there in 1917. She married Angus McDonald in 1873 in Rylstone. They had five children.

1. Alice 1875 -1920 Married Francis King. They had one child.

2. Elizabeth Jane 1877 - 1908 Married James Mason. They had at least two children.

3. Annie 1880 - ?. Married William Mason. They had two children.

4. John 1882 -1945 Married Agnes Haley. They had three children.

5. William Angus 1888 - ? Single.

Thomas Turner Jnr 1857 to 1922. Married Gertrude Bayliss

Thomas Turner was the sixth child of Thomas Turner and Elizabeth Bayliss. He was born in Rylstone in 1857 and died in Forbes in 1922. Thomas married Gertrude Bayliss in 1878. They had five children.

1. Olive 1881 - 1912. Married Edward Bartley. They had two children.

2. Eva 1883 -1884

4. Miriam 1889 - 1894.

5. Ennis Henry 1895 -1962. Married Florence Clarke. They had at least one child.
