Charlotte Barwick 1825 to 1856 married to Edmund Brown

Charlotte Barwick was born to Charlotte and John Barwick in Kurrajong on November 11, 1825. She died at Richmond on April 16, 1856. Charlotte married Edmund Brown in 1846 at Richmond.

Charlotte and Edmund had four children.

1. Harriett 1848 to 1936 (married to Alexander Bennett in 1863 at Mudgee) & (married to Thomas Cleaver in 1868)

2. Amelia 1849 to 1903 (married to William Bennett in 1866)

3. Edmund 1851 to ?? (married to Susan Makepeace in 1877 at Mudgee)

4. Elijah 1854 to 1918 (married to Harriett McMichael in 1890 at Gunnedah)

John Wilson 1845 to 1921 married Elizabeth Lane

John Wilson was born at Kurrajong, NSW in 1845. He was the first son and second child of Simeon Wilson and Elizabeth Horan. John died in 1921 in Manildra, NSW. You can read this lovely obituary about John here.

John married Elizabeth Lane (daughter of Hannah (Anne) Hawkins and John Lane) in 1869 in Kurrajong. Elizabeth was the grand daughter of convict David Hawkins who owned the 50 acre property ''Timberinga'' next door to the Wilson family. 

Elizabeth died in 1925 in Manildra. Both John and Elizabeth are buried in Cudal.

John and Elizabeth had twelve children.

6. Emily Ann 1880 - 1954 married John Thomas Bennett. They had eight children.

7. Anna Amelia (Hannah) 1882 - 1892

8. Rachel May 1885 - 1954 married Alfred Howarth. They had ten children.

9. Elsie Louisa 1887 - 1930 married Walter Barwick. Walter was a son of William Barwick and Susan Wilson and therefore a distant relative.

10. Isaac Bruce 1890 - 1952 married Lyla Barwick. Lyla was the daughter of William Barwick and Susan Wilson and therefore a distant relative.

11. Eliza Pearl 1892 - 1957 married Jack Hanrahan. They had eight children.

12. Eva Ellen 1897 - 1928 married William Archibald Coomber. They had two children.

Harriett Brown 1848 to 1936 married Alexander Bennett and Thomas Cleaver

Harriett Brown was the first child of Charlotte Barwick and Edmund Brown. She was born in North Richmond in 1848 and died in Dubbo in 1936. Harriett married twice. First to Alexander Bennett with whom she had three children. Then after Alexander died in 1868, Harriett married Thomas Cleaver. Harriett and Thomas had eight children.

3. Charles 1868 - 1951. Married Louisa Horder. They had eleven children.

3. George Henry 1876 - 1956 Married Prudence Armstrong and Henrietta Harvey. Had five children with Henrietta.

4. Eliza 1878 -1950. Married James Armstrong. They had four children.

5. Thomas Vincent 1880 -1963.

6. Walter 1883 - ? Married Margaret ? They had at least two children.

7. Alice Beatrice 1885 - 1982. Married Henry Gore. They had seven children.

Amelia Brown 1849 to 1903 married William Bennett

Amelia Brown was the second child of Charlotte Barwick and Edmund Brown. Amelia was born in North Richmond in 1849 and died in 1927 in Mudgee She married William Bennett in 1866. They had fourteen children.

1. Alexander 1869 -1962. Married Elsie Wright. They had two children.

2. William 1871 - 1949 Married Lucy Lyons.

5. Amelia Selina 1875 - 1965. Married Francis Paine. They had ten children.

10. Susan 1885 - ? Married Christian Meyers. They had four children.

John Samuel Skinner 1863 to 1946 married Ada Cooper

John Samuel Skinner was the fourth child of Emma Barwick and Francis Skinner senior. He was born in Mudgee in 1863 and died in 1946. John married Ada Cooper in Rylstone in 1889. They had three children. You can read John's obituary here. 

1. Stella Maud 1890 - 1974. Married Robert Hanchard and Thomas Bennett. Stella had one child with Robert Hanchard. (Ivy M Hanchard born in 1912). Robert died just five months after they were married (read here). With Thomas Bennett Stella had nine children.

2. Doris Amy 1897 - 1968. Married Bertram Robbins. They had three children.

3. Irving John 1901 - 1974. Married Joan Marskell. They had five children.
