Margaret Jane Hawkins was the second child of Susan Wilson and Joseph Hawkins. She was born at Kurrajong in 1857 and died there in 1882. She married John Wilson in 1878. They had two daughters. Her younger sister Ellen took care of Margaret's young daughters after her death. John was the son of John Wilson and Catherine Barwick, which meant that he and Margaret were first cousins.

2. Amelia Ann Christina 1882 - 1942 married Henry Packer in 1900. Known across the Hawkesbury as Ciss Packer. They had 12 children.
